The Accili Lab

Welcome to the Accili Lab, a research group at the University of British Columbia  that studies cellular electricity and special proteins called ion channels. Ion channels allow individual charged molecules to move in and out of cells; hence the title of our web site , canal ionique, which are the french words for ion channel. Our lab is located in the Life Sciences Institute on the UBC Point Grey Campus, in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Eric Accili is an Associate Professor in the Department of Cellular and Physiological Sciences at UBC and a Tier II Canada Research Chair in Pacemaker Channel Biology.
